Luwak ( Civet ) is an animal that likes to eat coffee beans and lives in tropical forests and active at night. The civet is widely available in nearly all the forests in Indonesia. Because its main food is coffee, and it is very well known that this animal will only eat the best quality coffee bean, civet droppings are sought to be processed into coffee powder. Now civets are conservated in Indonesia including Bali, because civet coffee has proven efficacy and relatively expensive.
